A local company with a real team
Professional service. Kansas City personality.
Scott The Handyman began as a one-person operation built on a straightforward promise: show up, communicate clearly, do the work correctly, and respect the customer’s property.
Built here. Accountable here.
More than one guy with a toolbox.
Today, an experienced team and office support serve homeowners, landlords, property managers, real-estate professionals, and local businesses throughout the metro. Customers can call, text, send photographs, request estimates, or schedule online—and there is a real office behind every request.
Kansas City built—not bought
Family owned. Professionally equipped.
We are not a franchise. Scott The Handyman is family owned and operated, with a real office team, a centrally based Kansas City-area operations shop, and late-model service vehicles set up as mobile maintenance shops.
Our trucks carry tools for roughly ten trades plus many frequently used repair parts. When the right part is already aboard, we can avoid an unnecessary store trip and put that time back into the customer’s project.

What the brand stands for
No smoke. No mystery. No pretending every job is easy.
We ask questions before quoting, explain uncertainty, and avoid promising a job will take one hour simply because the service minimum includes one labor hour.
That honesty is part of being professional—not a reason to make the customer experience complicated.
The Lulu rulebook
Do good work. Communicate. Clean up.
The website’s humor is real, but so are the expectations: respect the appointment, protect the property, explain the work, and stand behind the result.
Oops?
Call Scott.
Tell the office what needs attention and we’ll help choose the right next step.
